Honeywell Solid State Electronics Center(SSEC)는 1957년부터 1993년까지 미국 미네소타 주 미니애폴리스에서 운영된 Honeywell Inc.의 연구 개발 시설입니다. 이 센터는 마이크로 전자 공학, 반도체 및 관련 기술을 포함한 고체 전자 제품의 연구, 개발 및 생산에 전념했습니다.

SSEC는 운영 기간 동안 특히 집적 회로, 트랜지스터 설계 및 제조 공정 분야에서 반도체 산업의 발전에 크게 기여했습니다. SSEC의 주목할 만한 성과로는 최초의 실리콘 트랜지스터, 최초의 상용 실리콘 평면 트랜지스터, 금속 산화물 반도체(MOS) 기술을 사용한 최초의 집적 회로 개발이 있습니다.

1993년 Honeywell은 광범위한 운영 구조 조정의 일환으로 SSEC 시설을 폐쇄했습니다. 이후 회사의 반도체 사업부는 1999년에 SGS-Thomson(현 STMicroelectronics)에 매각되었습니다.
