ThedeviceisaFlashMemorytype8-bithighperformanceRISCarchitecturemicrocontroller containingspecialinternalcircuitryforultrasonicnebuliserapplications.Offeringusersthe convenienceofFlashMemorymulti-programmingfeatures,thisdevicealsoincludesawiderangeof functionsandfeatures.OthermemoryincludesanareaofRAMDataMemoryaswellasanareaoftrue EEPROMmemoryforstorageofnon-volatiledatasuchasserialnumbers,calibrationdataetc.Analog featuresincludeanovercurrentprotectionfunction.MultipleandextremelyflexibleTimerModules providetiming,pulsegenerationandPWMgenerationfunctions.Protectivefeaturessuchasaninternal WatchdogTimer,LowVoltageResetandLowVoltageDetectorcoupledwithexcellentnoiseimmunity andESDprotectionensurethatreliableoperationismaintainedinhostileelectricalenvironments. Thedevicealsoincludesfullyintegratedlowandhighspeedoscillatorswhichcanbeflexibly usedfordifferentapplications.Theabilitytooperateandswitchdynamicallybetweenarangeof operatingmodesusingdifferentclocksourcesgivesuserstheabilitytooptimisemicrocontroller operationandminimisepowerconsumption.Easycommunicationwiththeoutsideworldis providedusingtheinternalI2Cinterface.
