In the AT43USB325E, these port pins have dual functions as the interface pins to the serial EEPROM as shown below: NC/SSN Output No Connect/Slave Select – In the AT43USB325M this pin is not used. In the AT43USB325E this pin is the SPI slave select input used for enabling the serial memory during program memory downloading. TEST Input Test Pin – This pin should be tied to ground.
