This application note assumes Fiber Optic transceivers using 3.3V power supply and

SerDes Chips using either 3.3V or 5V power supply. It also assumes no self biasing at the

receiver data inputs (RD+/RD–) of the SerDes chip (Refer to the manufacturer Product

Specification for other applications).
