Load connected to L- When a high-side driver turns off an inductance, a reversed polarity voltage appears across the load. The output pin (L+) of the power switch becomes more negative than the ground until it reaches the demagnetization voltage, Vdemag. The conduction state of the power switch Q1 is linearly modulated by an internal circuitry in order to keep the voltage at C/Q or the I/Q pin at about Vdemag until the energy in the load has been dissipated.
