Countermeasure for Surge Voltage and Static Electricity

AVR Series AVR-M, AVRL Types

Varistors are voltage dependent nonlinear resistive elements with

a resistance that decreases rapidly when the voltage is over the

constant value.

Varistor is equivalent with Zener diode of two series connection.

Therefore, do not have polarity.
