50 / 72 page  50 µPD6708 8.3 Processing Routine 8.3.1 µPD6708 initialization routine • INIT command setting flow Start Drive the host controller port which controls the PD6708 RESET pin low for 6 s or longer, then return it to high. (Not necessary when a hardware reset such as a power-on reset is executed.) Reset PD6708 µ CMR ← 00H INIT command setting Normal end µ Place 00H in the command register. Release reset mode. Set unit address slave unit condition with INIT command. µ Start Read STR WDB empty? Write to WDB Write to WDB Write to CMR Normal end EXIT N Y Unit Address Setting (Higher 8 Bits) Unit Address (Lower 4 Bits) Slave Unit Condition Setting Set command code (0H). |
