projection-weldedmetalcaseswhichprovideEMI/RFIshielding.

MGH-Surfacemountpackage
ThesurfacemountMGHdc-dcconverterscanbemountedwith
pick-and-placeequipmentormanually.Itisrecommendedthat
thecasebeattachedwithflexibleepoxyadhesiveorsilicone
whichisthermallyconductive(>1watt/meter/°K).
InternalcomponentsaresolderedwithSN96(melting
temperature221°C)topreventdamageduringreflow.Maximum
reflowtemperatureforsurfacemountingtheMGHconverteris
220°Cforamaximumof30seconds.SN60,62,or63arethe
recommendedtypesofsolder.Handsolderingshouldnotexceed
300°Cfor10secondsperpin.
Thehermeticallysealedmetalcasesareavailableintwodifferent
leadconfigurations.See“Figure22:MGHCaseDimensions”on
