Design Considerations
This section provides information about design considerations for the VSC7440 device.
Half-duplex is not working on the internal CuPHY interfaces
Half-duplex operation is possible on all SerDes interfaces. Half-duplex does not work for port 0 and 1 if
the internal CuPHY is used.
Use external CuPHY interfaces for half-duplex operation on CuPHY interfaces. For fiber, SGMII
operation half-duplex is working correctly.
