Smartphones are able to take high quality

photos thanks to high-performance,

multi-megapixel sensors, as well as

devices that help compensate for

shaking, adapt to ambient light levels,

and optimize camera focus.

The latest smartphones integrate several

cameras, many of which require optical

stabilization. ST offers MEMS IMUs,

widely used for the OIS (optical image

stabilization). Many system topologies

can be adopted to enable OIS in

smartphones, including those based on

STM32 MCUs.
