In this case, the chips will simply connect the output data line together. Each chip will output data during the designated slots during a single frame of the TDM / PCM data line, then switch to high impedance so that the next chip may output its data on to the TDM data line. To set up TDM parallel mode, no specific registers are required. Note: Parallel mode supports TDM and I2S (TDM_CH_NUM ≥ 1). Figure 6 - Connection for Parallel TDM / PCM |
