1053 / 1348 page  Chapter 25 2 Kbyte EEPROM Module (S12XEETX2KV1) MC9S12XDP512 Data Sheet, Rev. 2.21 Freescale Semiconductor 1055 CAUTION An EEPROM word (2 bytes) must be in the erased state before being programmed. Cumulative programming of bits within a word is not allowed. 0x41 Mass Erase Erase all memory bytes in the EEPROM block. A mass erase of the full EEPROM block is only possible when EPOPEN and EPDIS bits in the EPROT register are set prior to launching the command. 0x47 Sector Erase Abort Abort the sector erase operation. The sector erase operation will terminate according to a set procedure. The EEPROM sector should not be considered erased if the ACCERR flag is set upon command completion. 0x60 Sector Modify Erase all four memory bytes in a sector of the EEPROM block and reprogram the addressed word.
