Whenthepowersupplyvoltage,VDD,fallsbelowthispre-determinedvalue,theLVDObitwillbe sethighindicatingalowpowersupplyvoltagecondition.TheLowVoltageDetectorfunctionis suppliedbyareferencevoltagewhichwillbeautomaticallyenabled.Whenthesedevicesarein theSLEEPmode,thelowvoltagedetectorwillbedisabledeveniftheLVDENbitishigh.After enablingtheLowVoltageDetector,atimedelaytLVDSshouldbeallowedforthecircuitrytostabilise beforereadingtheLVDObit.NotealsothatastheVDDvoltagemayriseandfallratherslowly,atthe voltagenearsthatofVLVD,theremaybemultiplebitLVDOtransitions. VDD LVDEN LVDO VLVD tLVDS LVD Operation TheLowVoltageDetectoralsohasitsowninterrupt,providinganalternativemeansoflowvoltage detection,inadditiontopollingtheLVDObit.Theinterruptwillonlybegeneratedafteradelayof tLVDaftertheLVDObithasbeensethighbyalowvoltagecondition.Inthiscase,theLVFinterrupt requestflagwillbeset,causinganinterrupttobegeneratedifVDDfallsbelowthepresetLVD voltage.Thiswillcausethesedevicestowake-upfromtheSLEEPorIDLEMode,howeverifthe LowVoltageDetectorwakeupfunctionisnotrequiredthentheLVFflagshouldbefirstsethigh beforethesedevicesentertheSLEEPorIDLEMode. |
