Aftersettingupthetablepointer,thetabledatacanberetrievedfromtheProgramMemoryusing thecorrespondingtablereadinstructionsuchas"TABRD[m]"or"TABRDL[m]"respectivelywhen thememory[m]islocatedinsector0.Ifthememory[m]islocatedinothersectors,thedatacanbe retrievedfromtheprogrammemoryusingthecorrespondingextendedtablereadinstructionsuchas "LTABRD[m]"or"LTABRDL[m]"respectively.Whentheinstructionisexecuted,thelowerorder tablebytefromtheProgramMemorywillbetransferredtotheuserdefinedDataMemoryregister[m] asspecifiedintheinstruction.ThehigherordertabledatabytefromtheProgramMemorywillbe transferredtotheTBLHspecialregister. BecausetheTBLHregisterisaread/writeregisterandcanberestored,careshouldbetaken toensureitsprotectionifboththemainroutineandInterruptServiceRoutineusetableread instructions.Ifusingthetablereadinstructions,theInterruptServiceRoutinesmaychangethe valueoftheTBLHandsubsequentlycauseerrorsifusedagainbythemainroutine.Asaruleitis recommendedthatsimultaneoususeofthetablereadinstructionsshouldbeavoided.However,in situationswheresimultaneoususecannotbeavoided,theinterruptsshouldbedisabledpriortothe executionofanymainroutinetable-readinstructions.Notethatalltablerelatedinstructionsrequire twoinstructioncyclestocompletetheiroperation. |
