13 / 151 page ![]() 4 Product electrical and thermal characteristics This section contains the Absolute Maximum Ratings (AMR), the latch-up trials, the ESD classification and the range of functionality of the device. The information provided here refers to the global behavior of the device. For specific information about the electrical characteristics of each interface/component, refer to the related section of the datasheet. 4.1 Absolute maximum ratings Within the maximum ratings, no damage to the component or latch-up occurs and the defined leakage currents won't be exceeded. However, the full functionality of the device is guaranteed only in the functional range. This part may be irreparably damaged if taken outside the specified absolute maximum ratings. Operation above the absolute maximum ratings may also cause a decrease in reliability. Note: A negative current is flowing out of the L9945, a positive current into the L9945. Table 2.
