The SPAD FoV is reduced when the TMF8805 operates in long distance since the SPAD array is reduced. This helps to improve ambient light tolerance1. Figure 10: FOI/FOV of TMF8805 (used 1/e^2 for FOI as example) 1 It depends on the size and reflectivity of the object if TMF8805 algorithm detects off-axis objects. |
