This implies that both devices are using this method and they are setting the same OOB data defined through an out of band communication (example: NFC). 3.6 Service and characteristic discovery This section describes the main functions allowing a BlueNRG, BlueNRG-MS GAP central device to discover the GAP peripheral services & characteristics, once the two devices are connected. The sensor profile demo services & characteristics with related handles are used as reference services and characteristics on the following pseudocode examples. Further, it is assumed that a GAP central device is connected to a GAP peripheral device running the Sensor Demo profile application. The GAP central device use the service and discovery procedures to find the GAP Peripheral sensor profile demo service and characteristics. Table 41.
