ThiswillensurethatthefirstdatareadfromthedatatablewillbeattheProgramMemoryaddress “3F06H”or6locationsafterthestartofthelastpage.Notethatthevalueforthetablepointeris referencedtothefirstaddressofthepresentpageifthe“TABRD[m]”instructionisbeingused.The highbyteofthetabledatawhichinthiscaseisequaltozerowillbetransferredtotheTBLHregister automaticallywhenthe“TABRD[m]”instructionisexecuted. BecausetheTBLHregisterisaread-onlyregisterandcannotberestored,careshouldbetaken toensureitsprotectionifboththemainroutineandInterruptServiceRoutineusetableread instructions.Ifusingthetablereadinstructions,theInterruptServiceRoutinesmaychangethe valueoftheTBLHandsubsequentlycauseerrorsifusedagainbythemainroutine.Asaruleitis recommendedthatsimultaneoususeofthetablereadinstructionsshouldbeavoided.However,in situationswheresimultaneoususecannotbeavoided,theinterruptsshouldbedisabledpriortothe executionofanymainroutinetable-readinstructions.Notethatalltablerelatedinstructionsrequire twoinstructioncyclestocompletetheiroperation. |
