21 / 107 page  ams Datasheet Page 21 [v1-11] 2018-Nov-14 Document Feedback AS3956 − Detailed Description Figure 16: AS3956 State Diagram SENSE State After a power-on reset (POR), AS3956 switches to the SENSE state. This state is exited when a SENS_REQ or an ALL_REQ command is received from the NFC device. Any other data received while in this state is interpreted as an error and AS3956 remains in SENSE state. When in SELECTED or AUTHENTICATED state, a correctly executed SLP_REQ command will modify the default waiting state from SENSE to SLEEP state. SLEEP state can be exited when an ALL_REQ command is received.
