39 / 68 page  HD404318 Series 37 Timer C Timer C is an 8-bit multifunction timer that includes free-running, reload, and watchdog timer features, which are described as follows. • By setting timer mode register C (TMC: $00D), one of eight internal clocks supplied from prescaler S can be selected • By selecting pin TOC with bit 2 (PMRA2) of port mode register A (PMRA: $004), timer C output (PWM output) is enabled • By setting timer write register CL, CU (TWCL, CU: $00E, $00F), timer counter C (TCC) can be written to • By setting timer read register CL, CU (TRCL, CU: $00E, $00F), the contents of timer counter C can be read out • An interrupt can be requested when timer counter C overflows • Timer counter C can be used as a watchdog timer for detecting runaway program |
