Expansion interface (EXPI)

The auxiliary bidirectional interface (EXPI) is multiplexed with the programmable PL_GPIOs

signals to connect an external component (for instance, emulation FPGA).

SPEAr1310 provides an AHB master (81) and an AHB slave (I) interface that are used by

the EXPI block in order to give access from the external world to the internal resources and

vice versa.

The EXPI is in charge of decoupling outside speed from the internal speed on the bus using

asynchronous bridges taking also care of multiplexing the first 100 PL_GPIO and the 4

PL_CLK between RAS and its functionality.
