ThedevicesprovideanareaofembeddeddatamemoryforLCDdisplay.Thisareaislocatedfrom
80Hto93HoftheRAMatSector1.TheMemoryPointerMP1HistheswitchbetweentheRAM
andtheLCDdisplaymemory.WhentheMP1H=01H,datawritteninto80H~93Hwillaffectthe
LCDdisplay.WhentheMP1Hiswrittenotherthan01H,anydatawritteninto80H~93Hismeantto
accessthegeneralpurposedatamemory.
TheLCDdisplaymemorycanbereadandwrittentoonlybyindirectaddressingmodeusingMP1L
andMP1H.Whendataiswrittenintothedisplaydataarea,itisautomaticallyreadbytheLCD
driverwhichthengeneratesthecorrespondingLCDdrivingsignals.Toturnthedisplayonoroff,
a“1”ora“0”iswrittentothecorrespondingbitofthedisplaymemory,respectively.Thefigure
illustratesthemappingbetweenthedisplaymemoryandLCDpatternforthedevice.
