4. Electrical Characteristics

4.1 Absolute Maximum Ratings

Table 4-1 summarizes the absolute maximum

ratings and Table 4-2 lists the recommended

operating conditions for the AR8327. Absolute

maximum ratings are those values beyond

which damage to the device can occur.

Functional operation under these conditions,

or at any other condition beyond those

indicated in the operational sections of this

document, is not recommended.

NOTE: For a 2-layer PCB design, we strongly recommend the use of external power — 1.1V for AVDD and

DVDD. This will reduce thermal effects.

NOTE: For a four-layer PCB design, we strongly recommend the use of a reserve external power supply for

AVDD and DVDD when using the internal switch regulator.
