6.3.10 Low Power Mode (LPM) / Connected Standby / Instant Go of VRs
All the Voltage regulators from the PMIC can be programmed by register to change the voltage in active
mode, or to change to a lower voltage or decay in the low power mode. This can be used to save system
power and extend battery life. And such capability is useful to meet the Connected Standby and Instant
Go specifications. The STANDBYZ pin triggers low power mode (LPM) when low. The STANDBYZ
triggers active mode (not in LPM) when high. Connect the SLP_S0# signal from the PCH to the
STANDBYZ pin to trigger the low power mode, LPM. The default settings can be changed by the user with
the I2C register at any time.
